Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that this land is the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations (comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi Peoples), and of the Huron-Wendat Peoples. We value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations and all of the Original Peoples of Turtle Island who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial.

Adoption of Published Agenda

Striking Committee Meeting Agenda for April 9, 2024

• That the published agenda for the April 9, 2024 Striking Committee Meeting be adopted as presented / amended.

Committee Appointment

Appeal Committee

• That the Committee move into Closed session pursuant to Section 239 (2)(b) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 (to discuss personal matters about identifiable individuals, including municipal or local board employees).

• That the Striking Committee move back into open session.

• That the recommendation to Council is for ________________________________ to be the appointed as chair of the Appeal Committee and for ________________________________ to be the appointed members of the Appeal Committee.

Report to Council

• That the Municipal Clerk be directed to note the recommendations made at this meeting by the Striking Committee and to report same back to Council for its consideration at its April 15, 2024 Regular Meeting of Council.
