Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that this land is the traditional territory of the Three Fires Confederacy of First Nations (comprised of the Ojibway, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi Peoples), and of the Huron-Wendat Peoples. We value the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations and all of the Original Peoples of Turtle Island who have been living and working on the land from time immemorial.

• That the published agenda for the October 7, 2024 Special Council Meeting be adopted as presented / amended.

Reports from Administration

RE: Harrow High Property Future Development

Recommended Action:

• That Council supports the inclusion of an affordable housing target of 20% in the Harrow High School Redevelopment request for proposal (RFP); and

  That Council approves $37,000 as a post-budget approval for costs incurred for the servicing studies that will be made available to the proponents in the request for proposal (RFP), which will be funded from the proceeds received from the final sale of the property.
